d. Report any signs of battery damage, leakage, or abnormal behavior to the relevant authorities immediately.
3. Charging and Storage:
a. Charge the lithium-ion battery in designated charging areas, following the manufacturer's instructions.
b. Use only chargers specifically recommended for the forklift's lithium-ion battery.
c. Store and charge the battery in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.
d. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
4. Operating Conditions:
a. Inspect the forklift before each use, checking for any visible damage, loose connections, or faulty components.
b. Do not operate the forklift if it shows signs of malfunction or damage. Report the issue to the appropriate personnel.
c. Observe the recommended load capacity limits provided by the manufacturer.
d. Ensure the load is securely positioned and balanced on the forklift before lifting or moving.
5. Safety Precautions:
a. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, helmets, and high-visibility clothing.
b. Do not operate the forklift while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs judgment or coordination.
c. Follow proper traffic rules and avoid excessive speed or sudden maneuvers.
d. Keep a safe distance from pedestrians, obstacles, and other vehicles in the workplace.
6. Reporting Incidents:
a. Promptly report any accidents, incidents, near misses, or damages involving the forkliftto the relevant authorities.
b. Cooperate fully in any investigation related to incidents involving the forklift.
7. Maintenance and Repairs:
a. Follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule and guidelines.
b. Only authorized personnel should perform maintenance, repairs, or modifications on the forklift or its battery.
8. Indemnification:
a. Users of the forklift agree to indemnify and hold harmless the forklift owner, manufacturer, and associated parties against any claims, damages, liabilities, or losses arising from the use or misuse of the forklift.
